Pamana World BV, based in the Netherlands, was established as a company focused on bridging European and Southeast Asian markets, particularly the Philippines. Founded by Filipino entrepreneurs, Rhea Topacio and Dennis Rogacion, whose vision is to expand Filipino products internationally, Pamana World BV sought to promote Philippine products in the European market, fostering more recognition of their traditional and cultural cuisine among non-Filipinos and at the same time supporting the Filipino entrepreneurs and events in the region.
Our journey began in 2015 with the launch of Luneta Ice Cream™, the first Filipino ice cream brand made in Europe, marking an important milestone for Filipino-owned brands on the continent. Driven by the vision of Pamana World BV to promote Filipino cuisine globally while supporting fellow Filipino entrepreneurs, the brand quickly gained recognition; by 2016, Luneta Ice Cream was featured across Filipino television channels and major broadsheets, inspiring pride in Filipino heritage. From 2017 to 2019, the company strengthened its presence through cultural events across the Netherlands and Belgium, where its ice cream food truck became a crowd favorite. In 2020, Luneta Ice Cream received multiple recognitions, including Foodtruck of the Year (ice cream category) and a Gold Award for service excellence at the Nederlandse Horeca Prijzen, while also launching Guapito Premium Beer™, the first Filipino beer crafted in the Netherlands, and Ubeness™, Europe’s first Filipino-inspired flavoring, followed by Buco Pandanness, Langkaness, and Mangoness. Building on this growth, 2021 saw the introduction of Manong Sorbetero Filipino Ice Cream™, inspired by traditional street vendors and nostalgic local flavors. In 2023, in collaboration with Dea Enterprise, the company launched About Flavors, a line of 500ml flavoring bottles designed for large-scale food and beverage businesses and made available through their webshop, Amazon, and Bol. Continuing its commitment to innovation, Pamana World BV introduced Terifico™ in 2024, a ready-to-use syrup line bringing authentic Southeast Asian flavors to modern applications, with Ube as its pioneering flavor in Europe.
